Juniper & MainNEIGHBORHOOD CAFE & MARKET

Private working proposal · August 2026

Position Juniper & Main asthe place people choose.

One project covering the website, visual identity, photography, private-event materials, launch support, owner training, and organized final files.

Review packages

No obligation. This independent concept was created to show what may be possible for Juniper & Main before asking you to consider an investment.

Warm, fictional Juniper and Main cafe interior
Familiar place. Thoughtful hospitality.
One connected story.

The opportunity

Juniper & Main already has the experience. The website should show it clearly.

Facebook is useful for updates. The website should help new guests, travelers, couples, and event planners quickly understand Juniper & Main and decide to visit or get in touch.

Discovery starts on the web83%

of surveyed diners said they at least sometimes check a restaurant website before visiting.

For many guests, the website is the first decision point.Source: Toast diner survey, 2024 ↗
Facebook helps with updates.

It can point people to a website where Juniper & Main controls the full story, menu, event information, and next steps.

Event planners need to see the possibilities.

Good photos, clear options, and a shareable event guide make it easier for groups to consider Juniper & Main.

Before → After

Keep what makes Juniper & Main special.Make it easier for people to see it.

This is not about changing Juniper & Main. It is about making the website and materials do a better job of showing the atmosphere, hospitality, local character, and opportunities that are already there.

TodayOpportunity

Useful information is available, but the mobile journey separates it among multiple pages, an expanded navigation state, and downloadable material.

Connect the existing facts through calmer, more consistent paths to call, view the menu, compare spaces, plan a visit, or ask about an event.

Photography varies in style and purpose.

One original image collection presenting food, atmosphere, people, and place consistently.

Juniper & Main’s detailed history is published on its own page, but it is not consistently woven through the broader dining and destination story.

Weave Juniper & Main’s history and character into the experience as a reason to visit.

The banquet page and packet already explain event possibilities, planning support, and contact information.

Bring those existing event strengths into a more visual, shareable sales journey that is easier for a group to evaluate together.

The mobile experience layers large branding, contact controls, floating actions, navigation, and page content in a limited viewport.

Create a calmer hierarchy while keeping phone, menu, directions, reservations, and event actions close at hand.

Juniper & Main already has the substance. The opportunity is to make that value easier to see, understand, and act on.

What the redesign is meant to do

Make the value already there easierto see, understand, and act on.

The opportunity is not to invent a new Juniper & Main. It is to make the business’s story, gathering spaces, menu, visit guidance, and event capabilities work together as a clearer guest journey.

Story

Make local character part of the reason to visit.

Bring the founders’ point of view and neighborhood role into the guest journey instead of asking visitors to discover it separately.

Gathering spaces

Help guests understand the experience before they arrive.

Present the café, market shelves, and gathering table as clear parts of one welcoming experience.

Private events

Make an existing high-value offering easier to evaluate.

Lead with spaces and occasions, then connect interested planners to the business’s event information and inquiry path.

Mobile decisions

Keep important choices close at hand.

Use calmer navigation, compact menu browsing, clear gathering-space content, and nearby visit and contact actions.

The goal: a stronger destination impression, less navigation friction, and clearer paths toward visits and inquiries. Those outcomes would be measured after launch rather than promised in advance.

One project, handled together

Everything works together. One person keeps it moving.

01

Logo and visual basics

Logo versions, colors, type, writing style, and simple guidelines so everything looks and sounds consistent.

02

Hospitality website

An easy-to-use website that helps people find the menu, hours, directions, reservations, and event information.

03

Original photography

A useful collection of strong photos showing the food, spaces, people, neighborhood setting, and events.

04

Event sales materials

Polished materials an interested couple, family, employer, board, or planning committee can review and share.

Six preliminary directions

Different waysthe identity could begin.

These are conversation starters—not a request to choose a finished logo today. A dedicated identity process would test the strongest direction at sign, menu, website, social, embroidery, and small-icon sizes before refinement and approval.

01 · Hospitality sealNeighborhood destination

A circular shorthand suited to packaging, glassware, stamps, and social profiles.

02 · Botanical monogramWarm and cultivated

A quieter letter pairing that suggests care without becoming ornamental.

03 · Editorial wordmarkImmediate readability

A confident serif direction for navigation, menus, signs, and daily communications.

04 · Compact monogramOwnable shorthand

A compact treatment for small digital spaces, merchandise, and details.

05 · Storefront signatureLocal and useful

A practical mark with enough character for awnings, labels, and wayfinding.

06 · Full wordmarkEditorial and atmospheric

A flowing horizontal signature for the website, menus, and presentation covers.

Why these choices matter

Make every part of the projectdo a useful job.

Local character helps Juniper & Main stand out

The storefront, neighborhood role, and point of view give people reasons to choose Juniper & Main over another café.

Photography helps people decide

Good original photos let guests and event planners see the atmosphere before they call or visit.

Make the site easier for more people to use

Readable type, keyboard support, clear page structure, and obvious actions make the site easier for more guests to use.

Make future updates easier

Reusable layouts, instructions, editable files, and training make routine updates simpler and reduce future costs.

A process that does not add another job to your plate

You provide the business knowledge.Adam handles the work.

You should not have to manage a designer, developer, photographer, printer, and several loose pieces. Adam coordinates the work, explains the choices, and brings you clear decisions at each step.

Adam handles

The planning and production work.

  • Project planning, schedules, and organized next steps
  • Logo, menu, website, photography, writing support, and finished production
  • Accessibility, search setup, testing, launch, documentation, and training
  • Printer and vendor communication, specifications, proofs, quality review, and delivery when selected
  • Clear recommendations when several choices are possible
Juniper & Main provides

A few things only ownership can provide.

  • One primary decision-maker
  • Accurate menus, prices, hours, policies, history, leadership, and event information
  • Available logo files, photographs, hosting, domain, analytics, and account access
  • Access to the property and appropriate staff when needed
  • Timely decisions at a small number of scheduled review points

What happens if you say yes?

A clear path from agreement to launch.

  1. 01
    Confirm the scope.

Choose the package, confirm what stays from the concept, and identify any changes before work begins.

  2. 02
    Gather the facts.

Juniper & Main provides approved menus, hours, event details, accounts, photographs, and business information.

  3. 03
    Build the real site.

Adam turns the approved direction into the production website and finished supporting materials.

  4. 04
    Review before launch.

Ownership reviews the work at agreed checkpoints and requests the revisions included in the scope.

  5. 05
    Launch carefully.

Adam coordinates the domain, hosting, forms, redirects, testing, and transition from the current website.

  6. 06
    Keep it useful.

Training, organized files, launch support, and optional ongoing care make future updates manageable.

Print production detailsWhat managed print production can include

Adam manages the
production process.

  • Recommend appropriate size, quantity, paper, finish, binding, and production method
  • Prepare and technically check print-ready files
  • Obtain and compare printer or specialty-vendor quotes
  • Coordinate proofs, revisions, and Juniper & Main’s written approval
  • Communicate with vendors and monitor the order
  • Review finished quality and arrange shipping, installation coordination, or local delivery
  • Provide organized final files and specifications for easier future reorders

This can cover more than menus.

Food, wine, dessert, lounge, banquet, seasonal, carryout, and large-print menus; business and appointment cards; gift certificates and holders; event brochures and presentation folders; table cards and inserts; postcards, invitations, and direct mail; tourism brochures and hotel referral cards; signs, banners, window graphics, and displays; stationery; packaging; labels; stickers; and approved branded merchandise.

Juniper & Main stays in control without managing the production. Before a nonrefundable order is placed, the owners approve the final proof, quantity, specifications, delivery date, complete vendor cost, and Adam’s coordination fee in writing.

A dedicated one-month engagement

From approval to launchin four focused weeks.

Adam will reserve dedicated project capacity for Juniper & Main and lead the work from discovery through launch. The schedule stays manageable because decisions arrive in four clearly defined stages.

  1. Week 1

    Discover and gather

Confirm goals, collect access and business information, review existing materials, plan photography, and establish the approved creative direction.

  2. Week 2

    Create the system

Develop the production identity, refine messaging, design priority menus and pages, and produce or organize the agreed photography.

  3. Week 3

    Build and test

Complete website production, responsive behavior, accessibility, search setup, forms, measurement, content review, and focused revisions.

  4. Week 4

    Approve, launch, and hand over

Complete final quality checks, publish the approved work, deliver organized files and instructions, provide training, and begin the included support period.

Why each part matters

Not just more materials.Better business tools.

Every service is meant to help a guest decide, help an employee work more efficiently, or help Juniper & Main earn more value from the experience it already provides.

Food and wine menus

Help guests choose confidently—and discover more of what Juniper & Main offers.

Clear organization makes dishes, prices, and wine choices easier to understand. It gives signature offerings appropriate attention and helps guests notice pairings, desserts, and seasonal features without making the menu feel pushy. Coordinated print and digital versions also simplify updates for staff.

Brand, website, and search

Help unfamiliar customers recognize, find, and trust Juniper & Main.

One identity and a clear website make menus, signs, promotions, search results, and guest information feel like parts of the same established destination.

Original photography

Let people judge the experience before they arrive.

Professional photographs show the food, atmosphere, neighborhood setting, gathering spaces, and event spaces more convincingly than descriptions alone.

Event materials and responses

Help interest become a confident group decision.

A shareable event guide and prepared replies give couples, families, employers, and committees clear answers and a professional next step.

Gift cards and promotions

Turn Juniper & Main’s experience into something people can give and rediscover.

Coordinated gift-card, holiday, anniversary, date-night, and seasonal materials create more reasons to purchase now and visit later.

Notes from Juniper & Main

Build a direct connection with guests who want to return.

An optional email signup can build a permission-based audience Juniper & Main owns directly. Seasonal menus, special dinners, holiday hours, event announcements, and stories can reach interested guests by email instead of depending entirely on Facebook or another platform to show the post.

Accessibility

Make information easier for more guests to use.

Readable type, sufficient contrast, keyboard support, clear page structure, and large-print options remove unnecessary barriers for older guests and guests with disabilities.

Measurement, training, and files

Protect and improve the investment.

Useful reporting, organized files, reusable layouts, instructions, and training support evidence-based improvements and easier routine updates.

What success looks like

Confidence beginsbefore a guest arrives.

A visitor finds Juniper & Main, immediately understands why the place is distinctive, sees the atmosphere and menu clearly, and feels ready to reserve, visit, or ask about an event.

01

Discover

Search, social media, tourism partners, or a recommendation leads to one credible destination.

02

Understand

The history, setting, food, and hospitality become clear without making the visitor work for answers.

03

Choose

Menus, photographs, event information, and next steps build enough confidence to act.

04

Remember

A consistent experience makes Juniper & Main easier to recommend, revisit, and share with others.

The product is not simply a new website. It is a clearer path from first impression to reservation, event inquiry, return visit, and recommendation.

Higher-tier incentive

Turn event interest intoa bookable occasion.

Digital event brochure

A beautiful PDF that shows what Juniper & Main’s spaces look and feel like, what kinds of events belong there, and how someone takes the next step.

Something an interested couple, family, or company can look through, download, print, and share.

Editable event presentation

A short slide presentation containing the key photographs, options, and selling points needed to explain the venue.

Something your contact can show a spouse, employer, board, or planning committee when other people must approve the decision.

Ready-to-use inquiry responses

Prepared email replies, a one-page venue summary, and consistent next-step language for responding to new inquiries.

Your staff does not have to rewrite the same response every time someone asks about an event.

Choose the right level

Keep one accountable partner.Choose how much support is included.

Each package includes a clearly defined amount of work—not unlimited design support. The number of finished items, revision rounds, photography hours, website pages, and other working details are confirmed before the project begins.

Start with a complete foundation, then choose only the additional support that fits.

The builder provides a useful planning estimate. It does not place an order or create a commitment.

Working commercial terms. Foundation is planned with two focused revision rounds for each major deliverable and 14 days of post-launch adjustments. Payments are 40% to reserve the project, 30% after approval of the primary creative direction, and 30% before launch and final-file delivery. Pricing is valid for 30 days. Ordinary Tiffin-area visits are included; travel beyond 25 miles is approved in advance. The signed agreement confirms the exact website scope, dates, rights, outside costs, and other production details. No outside purchase is made without Juniper & Main’s written approval.

No vague promises

01 · Brand and guest materials

Keep guest materials consistent.

A finished logo system, food and wine menus, event menus, gift certificates, signs, table cards, business cards, and other materials guests see before and during a visit.

Consistent materials make Juniper & Main easier to recognize and give guests a more polished experience.
02 · Private-event sales materials

Make it easier to choose the Mill.

A polished event guide, space and capacity information, sample packages, printable handouts, tour materials, and a presentation someone can share with other decision-makers.

Clear answers and attractive materials help interested couples, families, companies, and planners move toward a booking.
03 · Photography and promotion

Keep giving people reasons to come back.

Professional food, interior, exterior, staff, and event photography—plus coordinated graphics for Facebook, email announcements, gift cards, seasonal dinners, and special occasions.

This project touches the website, brand, photography, print, accessibility, search, training, and final files. Having one person coordinate those pieces keeps the work consistent and makes the process easier for the owners.

Specific experience

Clear facts instead of vague claims.

Experience, education, production work, and awards are listed clearly so you can see the background behind the proposal.

Clear process

Know what happens next.

Scope, responsibilities, timing, revisions, outside costs, and approvals are written down before work begins.

Files you can keep using

You receive organized final files.

Organized files, instructions, training, and agreed editable materials make future updates easier, whether Adam handles them or someone else does.

One point of contact

One person coordinates the work.

Adam coordinates design, production, testing, vendors, and handoff so the owners are not left connecting unfinished pieces.

A note about concept materials. This is a concept, not a finished website. Concept photos, sample menu content, prices, hours, draft logos, unverified information, and proposed ideas remain placeholders until Juniper & Main provides the facts and approves them for final use. The identity directions are options—not a requirement to rebrand.

Common questions

Clear answersbefore a commitment.

Will this create more work for us?

Adam manages planning, design, production, testing, vendors, launch, and handoff. Juniper & Main supplies accurate business information, account access, one decision-maker, and timely approvals at planned review points.

Will Juniper & Main own the finished website and files?

Yes. After final payment, Juniper & Main receives the agreed website files, production-ready brand files, approved photography, and editable materials listed in the agreement. Third-party software, fonts, hosting, and licensed services remain subject to their own terms.

What happens to our current website and domain?

The existing domain can stay in place. Adam reviews the current hosting and domain setup, prepares the new site separately, coordinates the approved launch, and adds redirects where needed so important links do not simply disappear.

Can our staff update menus, hours, and photographs?

Yes. The production approach is selected with Juniper & Main. It can include documented file updates, structured editing areas, or a WordPress content system with training. Ongoing updates can also be handled through an optional care plan.

Are the photos, menu items, hours, prices, and logos shown here final?

No. They make the concept realistic, but all business facts and final creative assets are reviewed with Juniper & Main before launch. The logo ideas are options; Juniper & Main can retain, refine, or replace its identity direction.

Can we change parts of the concept before it is built?

Yes. Kickoff confirms what the owners want to keep, change, remove, or add. Foundation is planned with two focused revision rounds for each major deliverable. The signed agreement identifies the exact review points and deliverables so expectations stay clear.

Does hosting cost extra?

Not necessarily. This type of website may be suitable for reliable hosting at little or no cost. Adam will recommend the most sensible option rather than add an unnecessary hosting fee. If a paid hosting plan or third-party service is needed, the actual outside cost is presented for approval and passed through without a hosting markup.

What happens if something needs attention after launch?

Foundation includes 14 days of post-launch adjustments; Signature includes 30 days; and Growth includes 90 days of review and optimization. After the included period, Juniper & Main can request additional work as needed at $85/hour, quoted in advance when practical, or choose optional Website Care at $125/month. Website Care includes up to one hour of routine content updates each month, technical checks, accessibility and performance review, and support. Larger additions, redesigns, campaigns, photography, and other project work are quoted separately.

What exactly does Foundation include for the menu and website copy?

Foundation includes one coordinated primary dinner menu, print-ready files, a readable digital version, and organized editable source files. It also includes writing and editing support for the agreed website scope. Juniper & Main supplies and approves menu prices, hours, policies, history, leadership information, and other business facts before publication.

How are payments and local visits handled?

The working payment schedule is 40% to reserve the project, 30% after approval of the primary creative direction, and 30% before launch and final-file delivery. Ordinary visits in the Tiffin area are included. Travel beyond 25 miles and any related cost are discussed and approved before they are incurred.

Will the site help with Google and search visibility?

The build includes a strong technical and content foundation: mobile performance, accessible structure, page titles and descriptions, local-business information, useful page copy, analytics, and search setup. No ethical provider can guarantee a specific ranking.

Can this work with our reservation, gift-card, email, and event systems?

Usually, yes. Adam reviews the systems Juniper & Main already uses and recommends whether to link, embed, integrate, or replace them. Any platform limitations or additional fees are identified before implementation.

What is the benefit of “Notes from Juniper & Main”?

It can build a permission-based email list of guests who have already shown interest. Juniper & Main can then share seasonal menus, special dinners, holiday hours, event announcements, and stories directly instead of depending only on Facebook reach. The signup would be connected to an approved email platform with clear consent and unsubscribe controls.

Are we obligated because this concept was created for us?

No. There is no obligation attached to reviewing the concept. It was created to make the possible direction, scope, and investment easier to evaluate before a conversation.

If nothing changes

Nothing needs to change overnight. The opportunity is to connect and strengthen what is already there.

01

New visitors continue forming their first impression through a mobile experience where branding, contact controls, navigation, and page content compete for attention.

02

Juniper & Main’s history remains substantial and available, but largely self-contained rather than carried through the broader dining and destination journey.

03

Private-event information remains useful, but the page, phone contact, and practical packet do not yet function as one cohesive visual sales journey.

04

Promotions remain separate reactions instead of parts of one recognizable, reusable system.

The opportunity isn’t to reinvent Juniper & Main. It’s to help the website communicate more of what already makes Juniper & Main worth choosing.

Start the conversation

What matters mostto Juniper & Main right now?

The only next step is a conversation. No package is selected and no work begins until Juniper & Main is comfortable with the scope, schedule, and agreement.
